Life is about going through difficult experiences, emotions, feelings and phases. It’s not about striving for perfection, our experiences are full of heartbreaks, nerves, and stressors. I strive to reflect the lessons of grief into new creations that reflect resilience and shifting perspective.
Coming to understand purpose relies on having the mindfulness comprehension to reflect on what we feel. The humanity of our most vulnerable, emotional moments, the ability to find customs and weave connections that make us feel.
When systems of power enable disenfranchisement upon sectors of a population, we are all unjustly stripped of the freedom to feel and thus blocked from connections.
As a people we must strive for safety and accommodation that allows all peoples to have freedom of movement and expression.

In my event planning and creative projects, I’m attempting to curate spaces that lead with authenticity, love and acceptance, striving to break free from digital isolation and build real community.
Patience, Growth and Healing
Throughout my journey as an assault survivor I have taken away the lesson that things can hurt in the moment but remaining present and looking ahead can give more meaning to every moment. I learned to shift away from desiring perfection and relishing in the awe of my capability to feel intense human emotions.
Education and Growing Perspective
Perceiving experiences with the hope of gaining education helps contextualize that the world is vaster than our perspective and contains multitudes of legacies and stories. Legacies are made through dedication and decisions, stories give insight to our perspectives.

Our body is the tool each of us have to navigate our experiences and expression. Exploring the way you enjoy presenting your body gives you a sense of control and power. Securing your relationship with your body leaves you less starved for outside validation and more intune with your narrative.
